This month's deer management video with Chris Rogers is a perfect demonstration of the ethics driven side of deer stalking. After a brilliantly tense stalk Chris finally catches up with an old roe in very poor condition that he has had his eye on for a while.

When deer reach old age, their condition deteriorates, their teeth wear down, and if they are not culled they risk suffering a lingering death, exposed to the elements and unable to gain sufficient nutrition to sustain themselves through the winter months.

Later in the video, a cheeky muntjac crosses our path and Chris has to act fast to get on top of it. Enjoy a beautiful early summer stalk through stunning countryside and a professionally conducted, exciting hunting experience.
