The National Gamekeepers’ Organisation (NGO) has announced its return to The Game Fair 2017 after a two year absence and members will receive discounted tickets to the event

The National Gamekeepers’ Organisation (NGO) has announced its return to The Game Fair 2017 (held at Hatfield House, Hertfordshire from Friday 28 to Sunday 30 July), following a two-year absence from the event.

NGO members will be entitled to a special rate of £20 (instead of the usual £22.50 or the £27 charged on the gate) when they buy advance tickets to the event.

The new NGO pavilion will be centrally located on Gamekeepers’ Row surrounded by gamekeeping-related exhibitors. It will act as a hub for the gamekeeping community with free refreshments being offered, and the NGO team will be in situ to answer any queries and to showcase the new alternatives to Fenn traps, before a ban comes into effect.

The NGO’s development officer Tim Weston commented: “The main reason the NGO is returning is because The Game Fair is not the same old tired event – it is a completely different show. After meeting with The Game Fair team several times I was impressed by their energy and creativity. They are full of innovation and new ideas. We are genuinely looking forward to exhibiting at this year’s show.”

The Game Fair’s managing director James Gower added: “We are delighted to welcome the return of the NGO after a two-year absence. They play a central role in bringing together gamekeepers from all over the country – in particular connecting amateur keepers with professionals for advice.”
